An ARC Raiders ban does not always mean the same restriction. Your restriction notice tells you what happened to the account and whether a period is specified. Read it before opening support.
For an account decision you believe is wrong, sign in with your Embark ID on the official support page. You are asking Embark to reconsider its action, so use your own account.
Check what Embark has restricted
A temporary suspension runs for a stated period. With that kind of ARC Raiders ban, the notice gives you a duration to refer to when explaining the decision you dispute.
Embark names a permanent ban as the standard penalty for known cheat programs. Its September update on cheaters in ARC Raiders sets that expectation before you begin an appeal.
The action may also concern a game copy. If more than one account uses that purchase, explain that when asking about the ARC Raiders ban. Otherwise you may be describing only part of the access problem.
Send your appeal in the support chat
Open the chat bubble at the lower right after signing in. Select Ban Appeals, then Game Ban. The prompts take you to the restriction you want reviewed.
You can appeal an eligible ARC Raiders ban while it is active, once per restriction. Put the relevant details into that submission: the message you received, what happened and why you believe the action was mistaken.
A moderator checks the account data alongside your explanation. For your ARC Raiders ban, describe what actually occurred rather than use a stock excuse borrowed from another player.
Read the result of the review
The appeal outcome can leave the ARC Raiders ban upheld, adjusted or lifted. Upheld means the original restriction stays. Adjusted means a different action was considered more appropriate. Lifted means the restriction was applied in error.
Embark sends you the result, but it does not share detailed detection methods. That applies to investigations involving cheaters in ARC Raiders too. Expect a decision about the restriction rather than a technical explanation of the detection.
A computer restriction is different
A hardware ban can show an error such as ARAV0017. This form of ARC Raiders ban stops the computer accessing Embark’s games and is final, rather than eligible for the account appeal above.
Embark says playing again requires a different computer. Surch Cheats sells a separate HWID Spoofer, but it is not an account-unban service and we do not promise compatibility with this game.
Steam Family Sharing has another consequence: enforcement can affect accounts using the restricted purchase. Mention that arrangement if it is involved in your ARC Raiders ban.
Check purchases and progress separately
Embark does not provide item transfers or progression transfers from a banned account. Moving to another account therefore does not bring back the inventory you had before the ARC Raiders ban.
The store refund policy decides eligibility for the game purchase. Embark excludes in-game purchase refunds after an ARC Raiders ban for rule violations. Surch Cheats supplies ARC Raiders cheats; the game’s purchase and enforcement decisions remain separate.
Your questions answered
Can every restriction be appealed?
No. Embark allows one appeal per eligible restriction while it is active. Hardware restrictions are final and cannot be appealed.
What should I include?
Give the message you received, the circumstances and why you believe the decision was wrong. Embark’s moderator reviews your explanation with the relevant account data.
Can Surch Cheats remove it for me?
No. We cannot change Embark’s enforcement decisions. Use Embark Support for an eligible account appeal.
What if someone else cheated on my account?
Embark’s policy says the ban remains even if another person committed the violation. You are responsible for the security and activity of your account.
